Caprica is a television series set in the fictional Battlestar Galactica universe. Beginning 58 years before the events seen in Battlestar Galactica, Caprica tells the story of how Colonial humanity first created the robotic Cylons, who would later plot to destroy human civilization in retaliation for their enslavement. Sanctuary is a Canadian science fiction-fantasy television series, created by Damian Kindler. The show is an expansion of an eight-webisode long series that was released through the Internet in early 2007 and sold directly to the viewer. Seeing the success of the web series, Syfy decided to pick up the series for a more traditional television-based 13-episode season, it has since been renewed for a second season also containing 13 episodes.
The show centers on Dr. Helen Magnus, a 157-year-old English scientist, and her team of experts who run the Sanctuary, an organization that seeks out non-human intelligent creatures, known as Abnormals, and tries to help and learn from them, while also having to contain the more dangerous creatures.

The story follows Echo, a "doll" or "Active" for the Los Angeles "Dollhouse", one of several facilities that is run by an organization that hires out human beings to wealthy clients who use them for a range of purposes, such as sexual encounters and high-risk illegal activities. These people's memories have been wiped using sophisticated technology, and new memories and personalities are programmed into them for each of their jobs. Echo, like her fellow dolls Victor and Sierra (all of the dolls at the LA Dollhouse are referred to by codenames based on the NATO phonetic alphabet), exists in a child-like blank state, until a programmer uploads her with the skills and memories to make her a completely new and unique person.

Accidentally on Purpose Season 1
Accidentally on Purpose follows Billie (Jenna Elfman), a San Francisco movie critic in her 30s. Billie meets Zack (Jon Foster), an aspiring chef in his 20s, at a local bar and they have a one-night stand at his friend's apartment. She soon finds out that she is pregnant from the fling and decides to keep the baby. She must simultaneously deal with her boss and ex-boyfriend, James, who finds himself jealous of Zack. Before the story began, she had hoped that James would ask her to marry him, but he told her that he was not ready because he was married once before.
Thanks to this unexpected arrival, Billie and Zack have agreed to live together platonically, since the only place that Zack has called home was his van. While Billie receives encouragement and advice from her party girl best friend (and fellow journalist) Olivia and her conventional, younger, married sister Abby, she also has to deal with Zack's freeloading friend Davis, among others, when they start turning her place into a frat house, leaving Billie to question whether she is living with a boyfriend, a roommate, or if she just has a second child to raise.
