The Tudors is a joint Irish/Canadian-produced historical fiction television series created by Michael Hirst. The series is based loosely upon the reign of English monarch Henry VIII, and is named after the Tudor dynasty. Season Four of The Tudors will focus on Henry's "tumultuous relationships with his last two wives, Katherine Howard and Catherine Parr, and his final descent into madness. A dream sequence featuring all of Henry's wives has been filmed for series 4 featuring Maria Doyle Kennedy, Annabelle Wallis and Natalie Dormer.
