Kate and William The Royal Wedding 2011

The wedding of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine Middleton took place at Westminster Abbey on Friday, 29 April 2011 at 11:00 am BST. William, who is second in the line of succession to Elizabeth II, first met Middleton in 2001, while both were students at the University of St Andrews. Their engagement, which began on 20 October 2010, was announced on 16 November 2010. Following the wedding, the couple intend to continue residing on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales, where Prince William is based as an RAF Search and Rescue pilot.

The Borgias Miniseries

The Borgias is a 2011 Canadian-Hungarian-Irish historical-fiction television miniseries created by Neil Jordan. The series is based on the Borgia family (Borja in Valencian), an Italian dynasty of Spanish origin, and stars Jeremy Irons as Pope Alexander VI and David Oakes, François Arnaud, Holliday Grainger and Aidan Alexander as Juan, Cesare, Lucrezia and Gioffre Borgia, respectively. Derek Jacobi also stars as Cardinal Orsini.

The Kennedys Miniseries

The Kennedys is a television miniseries chronicling the lives of the Kennedy family and the tragedies it has suffered. It stars Greg Kinnear, Katie Holmes, Barry Pepper and Tom Wilkinson among others and is directed by Jon Cassar. Parts one and two interweave a series of flashbacks that follow the Kennedy family from Joseph Kennedy's appointment as Ambassador to the Court of St. James's in 1938, his resignation in 1940, Jack's service aboard PT-109, Joe Jr's death in Operation Aphrodite, Jack's successful run for Congress in 1947 and for Senate in 1953, his meeting and marriage to Jacqueline Bouvier and election to the United States Presidency in 1960. Along the way the personal relationships between various members of the Kennedy clan are explored, including the strain between Joe Sr and Bobby and Jack's infidelities.

The Killing Season 1

The Killing is an American crime drama television series based on the Danish television series with the same English title, but known as Forbrydelsen (The Crime) in Danish. Set in Seattle, Washington, the series follows the police investigation, the grieving family and the suspects, after the homicide of a young girl, Rosie Larsen. Each of the 13 episodes will chronicle one day of the investigation. In comparison to the original Danish series, executive producer Veena Sud explained, "We're creating our own world. We are using the Danish series as a blueprint, but we are kind of diverging and creating our own world, our world of suspects and, potentially, ultimately who killed Rosie Larsen." Sud describes the series as "slow-burn storytelling in a sense that every moment that we don't have to prettify or gloss over or make something necessarily easy to digest, that we're able to go to all sorts of places that are honest, and dark, and beautiful and tragic, in a way that is how a story should be told."

Chaos Season 1

Threats to national security are investigated by a group of rogue CIA spies in the division of Clandestine Administration and Oversight Services (CAOS), while also trying to keep their jobs from being eliminated due to budget cuts.
